Are you feeling drained and unproductive? Maybe all you need is a quick yoga flow to help boost your energy levels and increase your productivity. In just 10 minutes, you can do these three yoga flows that will get your blood flowing and awaken your body and mind.
- Sun Salutation Flow Start in Tadasana or Mountain Pose with your feet hip-width apart and your hands at your heart center. Inhale, raise your arms above your head, and exhale, forward fold. Inhale, lift your chest halfway, and exhale, forward fold again. Inhale, step your right foot back into a lunge, and exhale, step your left foot back into Plank Pose. Take a breath, then exhale, lower yourself down into Chaturanga. Inhale, lift into Upward-Facing Dog, and exhale, push back into Downward-Facing Dog. Hold for a few breaths, then repeat on the other side.
To incorporate a yoga strap, use it to help extend your arms during the forward fold or to assist in the lunge when stepping your foot back.
- Warrior Flow Start in Tadasana and step your right foot back into Warrior I. Inhale and raise your arms above your head. Exhale, step back into Plank Pose and hold for a breath. Exhale, lower yourself down into Chaturanga. Inhale, lift into Upward-Facing Dog, and exhale, push back into Downward-Facing Dog. Repeat on the other side.
To incorporate a yoga strap, use it to help extend your arms in Warrior I or to help deepen your stretch in Downward-Facing Dog.
- Breath of Fire Flow Start in a seated position with your legs crossed and your hands on your knees. Take a deep breath in, then exhale forcefully through your nose, drawing your navel toward your spine. Begin to inhale and exhale rapidly through your nose, keeping your breaths equal in length. Continue for 1-2 minutes.
To incorporate a yoga strap, use it to help sit up straight and engage your core during the breath of fire exercise.
In just 10 minutes, you can complete any of these energizing yoga flows to help boost your productivity and increase your focus.
